Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
LIGHT Warrior ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Choice Box Vol.05 [UR]
Cannot exist Normal Summoned/Set. Must first exist Special Summoned (from your hand) past banishing one LIGHT and one Dark monster from your Graveyard. In one case per plow, you can actuate 1 of these effects.

● Target 1 monster on the field; banish that target face-up. This menu cannot attack the plough you activate this effect.
● If this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster past battle, after damage calculation: Information technology tin can make a second assail in a row.

Hands special summonable in this deck since there are Lite and Night Thunder Dragons. Its upshot is pretty decent for either monster removal or every bit an OTK pick, which can often force your opponent to activate their furnishings to deal with this, allowing you to more than safely follow it up with a different level 8 dominate monster.

Since it'southward likewise a level viii, this makes it easier to make a rank 8 Xyz with the other boss monsters to become Heliopolis for more card removals. This is a practiced follow-up if you lot used BLS' effect to banish since it tin can't attack afterwards.

Odd-Optics Advance Dragon

Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon
Odd-Eyes Accelerate Dragon
Low-cal Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Yuya Sakaki at Lvl 10, 18, and 30
You can Tribute Summon this card by Tributing 1 Level 5 or higher monster. If this card is Tribute Summoned: You can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and if you practice, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster'southward original ATK. When this card destroys a monster past boxing: You can Special Summon i Level 5 or higher monster from your mitt or GY in Defence Position, except "Odd-Optics Advance Dragon". You tin merely utilize this effect of "Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon" once per turn.

Searchable with The Melody of Awakening Dragon, alongside Levianeer. As long every bit you can summon any high-level monster, you tin tribute summon into this to get a non-targeting monster removal that as well deals effect damage.

Against high ATK enemies, this tin can deal some noticeable harm. If they only have 1 strong boss monster out, tributing into this to destroy and bargain effect damage plus a directly assail is already an OTK.

Boss monsters

Chaos Dragon Levianeer
Chaos Dragon Levianeer
Nighttime Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 0
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Prepare. Must starting time be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing three Calorie-free and/or DARK monsters from your GY. When Summoned this way: Yous can actuate this outcome; apply the post-obit result, based on the Attribute(s) of the monsters banished for the Special Summon, likewise this card cannot assail for the rest of this turn.
● Only Lite: Special Summon 1 monster from your GY in Defense force Position.
● Only Dark: Shuffle 1 random menu from your opponent's hand into the Deck.
● Both LIGHT and Night: Destroy up to 2 cards on the field.
You tin simply utilize this result of "Chaos Dragon Levianeer" once per turn.

Levianeer adds a significant amount of firepower to the deck. Thank you to its high ATK and ability to destroy upwards to two cards upon summon Anarchy Dragon Levianeer can be a truly devastating card particularly in a deck that has no trouble filling the Graveyard with its summoning toll quickly and consistently.

Always summon Levianeer with a combination of Calorie-free and Nighttime monsters as cost. The multi-card removal effect is its well-nigh useful effect. Some other thing is to always use Thunder Dragons equally toll when possible, activating their effects. But don't apply Thunder Dragons whose effect has already been activated during the plough.

Levianeer is effectively just a 3000 ATK beater after you use its outcome and won't even exist able to set on the plough information technology'south summoned. Because of this y'all might want to pair Levianeer with Raiden to make Onimaru. Onimaru has the aforementioned ATK every bit Levianeer just with ameliorate DEF and protection from devastation effects.

Thunder Dragonduo
Thunder Dragonduo
DARK Thunder ★eight
ATK 2800 / DEF 0
Time to come Horizon [SR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set up. Must first be Special Summoned (from your paw) by banishing ane LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. Once per turn, if a monster effect is activated in the manus: This card gains 300 ATK until the terminate of this plough. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can banish ane carte du jour from your GY; add one Thunder monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per plow, during your opponent'due south End Phase: Y'all can target 1 of your banished cards; place information technology on the top or bottom of your Deck.

Thunder Dragonduo has a similar but less plush summoning condition than Levianeer. Its loftier base of operations ATK contributes to this deck'south ability output, while its effects are skilful compliments the Thunder Dragon playstyle.

The ATK boost effect increases Dragonduo'due south impairment output and can allow it set on over stronger boss monsters.

The search upshot is good for resources proceeds. And the activation toll triggers a Thunder Dragon'southward effect, banishing something similar Dragondark further increases your potential resource proceeds.

Lastly, Dragonduo has a slow banish recovery effect which can be used to recycle your Thunder Dragons. This is useful since we don't actually run that many Thunder Dragons relative to our deck size.

Thunder Dragons

The Thunder Dragons all have a unique effect that activates from the manus, an a 2d unique effect that activates when they are sent from field to graveyard or banished from anywhere. The second effect will usually be triggered by outside back up such equally Levianeer or Dragonduo.

Thunder Dragonhawk
Thunder Dragonhawk
LIGHT Thunder ★6
ATK 1800 / DEF 2200
Dark Dimension [UR]
Yous can discard this card; Special Summon one of your "Thunder Dragon" monsters that is banished or in your GY, except "Thunder Dragonhawk". If this card is banished, or sent from the field to the GY: You can shuffle whatever number of cards from your manus into the Deck, then draw the same number of cards. You can only use 1 "Thunder Dragonhawk" upshot per plough, and only once that turn.

The get-go effect lets you revive any Thunder Dragon from the graveyard or banish zone. This tin exist used to bring back a Dragonduo that was previously summoned with its own effect.

The second effect is used to return cards like Anarchy Betrayer, Bacon Saver, and Glow-Upwards Seedling back to the deck considering these are cards you want to factory.

Thunder Dragondark
Thunder Dragondark
Dark Thunder ★v
ATK 1600 / DEF 1500
Mokuba Kaiba (DSOD) [UR]
(Quick Effect): You tin can discard this card; add 1 "Thunder Dragondark" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is banished, or sent from the field to the GY: You tin add 1 "Thunder Dragon" card from your Deck to your mitt, except "Thunder Dragondark". Y'all can simply use 1 "Thunder Dragondark" effect per turn, and merely once that turn.

We only run i copy of Dragondark to make room for 2 Levianeer. This is also a way to residue the corporeality of Light and Nighttime monsters in the deck. This essentially renders Dragondak'southward start effect useless.

Nevertheless, its 2d consequence is still a good plenty reason to run it. This lets you search a Thunder Dragon equally part of a combo that banishes Dragondark.

Thunder Dragonroar
Thunder Dragonroar
Dark Thunder ★half dozen
ATK 2400 / DEF 0
Mokuba Kaiba (DSOD) [SR]
You can discard this bill of fare; add to your paw, 1 of your "Thunder Dragon" cards that is banished or in your GY, except "Thunder Dragonroar". If this card is banished, or sent from the field to the GY: You tin Special Summon i "Thunder Dragon" monster from your Deck in Defense Position, but return it to the hand during the Stop Phase. You tin just employ 1 "Thunder Dragonroar" outcome per turn, and only once that plow.

The first result lets yous recover Thunder Dragons from the graveyard or blackball zone. You tin can use this recover a Thunder Dragon and immediately activate the recovered Thunder Dragon's outcome. Retrieve Dragonhawk and discard information technology to revive Dragonroar. You tin besides use this to recycle your 1 re-create of Dragonduo.

The search effect might non be as good as Dragondark considering information technology puts the Thunder Dragon on the field, so you tin can't use their discard event. One manner this Special Summoning tin can exist used to your reward is by pairing the Thunder Dragon with a revived Glow-Up Seedling for a Synchro Summon. This triggers the effect of the Thunder Dragon used as synchro material.

The Melody of Awakening Dragon

A searcher for calculation Anarchy Dragon Levianeer and Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon from your Deck.

Thunder Dragon's Hundred Thunders

Thunder Dragons Hundred Thunders
Thunder Dragons Hundred Thunders
Normal Trap
Mokuba Kaiba (DSOD) [UR]
Target 1 Thunder monster in your GY; Special Summon it, then you lot tin Special Summon as many monsters with that same name as possible from your GY. The monster(s) Special Summoned by this effect are banished when they leave the field, also while they are face-upwardly on the field, y'all cannot Special Summon monsters, except Thunder monsters. You can just actuate 1 "Thunder Dragons' Hundred Thunders" per turn.

Hundred Thunders can foreclose OTKs by summoning a agglomeration of monsters to your field to catch enemy attacks. Banishing the Thunder Dragons when they leave the field is actually beneficial because this will trigger their effects.

Extra Decks

Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
Light Dragon ★eight
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Space Ray [UR]
ii Level 8 monsters
Once per plough: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this bill of fare; Tribute any number of monsters from your paw and/or your side of the field (minimum 1), so destroy an equal number of cards on the field.

Heliopolis can exist made with any combination of Levianeer and Thunder Dragonduo. With sufficient cost, Heliopolis can destroy everything on your opponent's board resulting in an like shooting fish in a barrel OTK. The fact that summoning Heliopolis implies yous summoned Levianeer and used its removal effect, so yous've already reduced the opponent'southward field beforehand.

Level Duplication makes summoning Heliopolis much easier because you tin can have a monster on the field get Level-8 earlier summoning Levianeer.

Constellar Ptolemy M7
Constellar Ptolemy M7
Calorie-free Machine ★six
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [UR]
2 Level half-dozen monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster y'all command equally the Xyz Material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Xyz Materials fastened to that monster likewise become Xyz Materials on this carte du jour.) If Summoned this way, the following event cannot be activated this turn. Once per plow: You can detach i Xyz Fabric from this menu, and then target 1 monster on the field or in either player'due south Graveyard; return that target to the manus.

Ptolemy M7's provides non-destruction removal which also doesn't send the target to the graveyard, bypassing most floating. Monsters that practise not stop up in the graveyard are also harder to recycle, particularly if information technology was an Extra Deck monster.

Y'all tin besides select a monster in your own graveyard and recover information technology.

Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger
Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger
WIND Dragon ★7
ATK 2600 / DEF 2100
Infinite Ray [SR]
2 Level 7 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 5 or half-dozen Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Cloth. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster as well become Xyz Materials on this card.) If this carte du jour attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle harm to your opponent.
Photon Strike Bounzer
Photon Strike Bounzer
LIGHT Warrior ★6
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Photons of Milky way [SR]
2 Level 6 monsters
Once per turn, during either role player's turn, when a monster effect is activated on your opponent'southward side of the field: You can disassemble 1 Xyz Fabric from this card; negate the outcome, and if yous do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Negating enemy monster effects is nifty for disrupting their plays, especially since most combos involve the employ of a monster effect. An case is negating Noble Knight Medraut, Utopic Onomatopeia, etc. The burn damage upon negation is also quite a significant corporeality.

Even so, the negation outcome does not destroy the negated monster, so this can be dangerous confronting powerful monsters like Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon.

Number 25: Force Focus
Number 25: Strength Focus
Lite Machine ★vi
ATK 2800 / DEF 2400
Shining Promise [SR]
2 Level 6 monsters
Once per plow, during either thespian'south plough: Yous can disassemble 1 Xyz Textile from this carte du jour, and then target 1 Level 5 or college Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate the effects of that opponent's face-upward monster, until the stop of the plough.

Force Focus is proficient for negating the furnishings of high-leveled monsters. You can hitting Synchro monsters with this negation because they're often high leveled and are quite common to toolbox.

Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
Nighttime Rock ★viii
ATK 2100 / DEF 2700
Infinite Ray [R]
two Level 8 monsters
Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each monster in the GYs. Once per plough: Yous can disassemble 1 material from this card; until the end of your opponent's next plough, this card cannot be destroyed past bill of fare effects, too neither player can Special Summon monsters from the GYs.

With the amount of Graveyard setup present in this Deck Sanaphond should easily reach 3000+ ATK. On summit of its powerful stats, Sanaphond too comes with inherent protection and graveyard disruption.

Other Useful Cards

Aloof Lupine

Aloof Lupine
Aloof Lupine
DARK Beast ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 300
Blazing Rose [Northward]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You tin can banish 1 monster from your hand; banish 1 monster from your Deck with the same Blazon as that monster. If this menu is destroyed by boxing, or if this carte in its owner'southward possession is destroyed by an opponent's card result: You lot can target 1 of your banished monsters; add together it to your hand. You can but use each effect of "Aristocratic Lupine" once per turn.

Batteryman Back up

Since the deck barely uses whatsoever normal summon, the depression-level battery monsters can be used as a support tool for the deck.

Batteryman Solar
Batteryman Solar
LIGHT Thunder ★iv
ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
Called-for Nova [R]
Choice Box Vol. 02 [R]
If this carte is Normal or Special Summoned: You lot can ship i Thunder monster from your Deck to the GY. If a Thunder monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned while this monster is on the field: Special Summon 1 "Batteryman Token" (Thunder/Low-cal/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). You can target i "Batteryman" Issue Monster you control or in your GY; this bill of fare's name becomes that monster'due south until the End Phase. You lot can just use each outcome of "Solar Batteryman" one time per plough.

With this on the field, activating any of the Thunder Dragon monsters from the hand will special summon a token on the field. The tokens tin exist used for blocking attacks or to be tributed for any of the Thunder Dragons or Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon.

Other Cards Option

Trifortressops

Trifortressops
Trifortressops
DARK Motorcar ★6
ATK 1600 / DEF 2800
Galactic Origin [UR]
During either player's plow, if your opponent Summoned 3 or more monsters this turn: You tin can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned this way, information technology is unaffected by other carte du jour effects, merely loses 500 DEF during each player'southward Standby Phase.

Your opponent might fill their field with monsters when going for an OTK. And with many modern combos involving Synchros and Xyzs will spam monsters, Trifortressops' Special Summoning status won't be difficult to fulfill. In this example Trifortressops can be Special Summoned in defence position as a wall to cease the OTK.

If Trifortressops survives till your turn, information technology being a Level-6 makes it a good pair with your other Level-6 Thunder Dragons to make a Rank-6.

Batteryman Micro-Prison cell

Batteryman Micro-Cell
Batteryman Micro-Prison cell
LIGHT Thunder ★1
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Burning Nova [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [SR] [SR]
FLIP: Special Summon one Level iv or lower "Batteryman" monster from your Deck, except "Batteryman Micro-Cell". After this bill of fare has been flipped face-up, when it is destroyed past battle and sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card.

To summon Batteryman Solar from the deck and go a depict when destroyed. It's a strong effect that provides two good benefits, merely won't e'er work that well since there are plenty of monster removals that don't involve battling.

Arcana Strength Fourteen - Temperance

Arcana Force XIV - Temperance
Arcana Force XIV - Temperance
Light Fairy ★6
ATK 2400 / DEF 2400
Sartorius Kumar Unlock Upshot [SR]
During damage calculation, in either thespian'due south turn: You tin discard this carte; you lot take no Battle Harm from that boxing. When this card is Summoned: Toss a money and apply this issue. The result lasts while this card is confront-up on the field.● Heads: Halve all Battle Damage you have.● Tails: Halve all Battle Harm your opponent takes.

Utilise Temperance similar to how you would use Kiteroid; keep Temperance in your manus and discard it to block battle damage. Temperance has more synergy than Kiteroid with this Deck due to being a LIGHT monster. This means it can be banished as price for summoning Levianeer or Dragonduo.

Chaos Betrayer

Chaos Betrayer
Chaos Betrayer
Nighttime Fiend ★six
ATK 2000 / DEF 2000
D.D. Castle: Emergence Issue [SR]
If this card is in your GY: Y'all tin can banish 1 LIGHT and one DARK monster from your GY, except "Chaos Betrayer"; Special Summon this card is Defence force Position, but banish information technology when it leaves the field. If this carte du jour is Special Summoned: You tin can target 1 card in your opponent'southward GY; blackball it. You can merely use each effect of "Anarchy Betrayer" in one case per turn.

Put Chaos Betrayer in your graveyard with the Lightsworn engine, then revive it by banishing Thunder Dragon monsters. This will trigger the Thunder Dragons' effects while yous besides get to disrupt your opponent's graveyard with Chaos Betrayer's effect.

Chaos Betrayer is ever revived in defense position with his effect so you tin't really use him to button damage. Instead use him as Synchro material alongside Glow-Upward Bulb.

Hand Traps

Go on D.D. Crow and Sphere on hand until you need their furnishings. Being DARK Attributes, they also assist with Levianeer's summoning cost.

D.D. Crow
D.D. Crow
Dark Winged Fauna ★ane
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Shining Hope [UR]
During either actor'southward turn: You tin discard this card to the Graveyard to target ane card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target.

Strategically banishing a carte du jour in the opponent's graveyard tin can prevent them from recycling fundamental cards.

Sphere Kuriboh
Sphere Kuriboh
DARK Fiend ★1
ATK 300 / DEF 200
The Ultimate Rising [UR]
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can ship this card from your hand to the Graveyard; change the attacking monster to Defense Position. When you Ritual Summon a monster, you can blackball this card from your Graveyard as 1 of the monsters required for the Ritual Summon.

Employ Sphere Kuriboh to defend against attacks and lethal damage.

Tuner

Glow-Up Bulb
Glow-Up Bulb
World Constitute ★1
ATK 100 / DEF 100
Sentence Force [UR]
If this bill of fare is in the Graveyard: You lot can send the top menu of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon this card. You can just apply this issue of "Glow-Upwardly Seedling" once per Duel.

Glow-Upwards Bulb'due south effect essentially lets you revive it for complimentary while also giving you lot free graveyard setup. Put Glow-Upward Bulb in the graveyard with your Lightsworn engine and revive it when needed for a Synchro Summon. Usually you will pair Glow-Upward Bulb with a revived Thunder Dragon monster or Chaos Betrayer to make a level-6 or 7 Synchro.

Golden Sarcophagus

Banish Roar to special summon Nighttime so y'all can tribute summon Advance Dragon, or just use information technology on Levianeer then y'all are guaranteed to get it 2 turns afterwards.

Other Extra Decks

Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment
Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment
WATER Dragon ★9
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Arena of Sanctuary [UR]
iii monsters with different names
Must first be either Fusion Summoned using only monsters in your hand and/or field, or Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the in a higher place cards you control (in which instance you lot do not apply "Polymerization"). If this card was Special Summoned using only monsters that were originally Dragons: You can reveal and banish 3 cards (1 from your Deck, 1 from the top of your opponent's Deck, and 1 from their Actress Deck). You can just use this result of "Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment" one time per turn.

Thunder dragons with no handtraps, no aristocratic and 1 dragondark? Wtf? Your first plow is set a batteryman and pray?

Non many peeps is using the set batteryman and they have mitt trap to last the next plow.

This deck isn't dead. No need proof because it's fact.

Last nail in the coffin. This broken deck is finally gone subsequently more than a year.

<< Anonymous

Hahahaha! Nice joke! Do you believe a deck that has cards that can trigger their effects on hand, gy, field or when removed will ever cease to exist? TD will always be a tier deck. Imo, the levianeer limit was done and then konami can release and sell the thunder dragon fusions in an upcoming box. Marking my words. Typical konami.

<< Anonymous

A deck doesn't have all those effects. It is only broken with those splashable can cer cards. Levianeer is i of them. Then we have those Charge of Light Brigade, Aloof, Gold Sarco... can cer that can be corruption in multiple decks should all exist limited.

Lol Instead of a nerf, Thunderdragons got a second Levianeer, which destroys your monster and deals damage for half health and it cannot be negated with anything. At least against Levianeer y'all could make Steelswarm roach sometimes. Information technology'due south merely not fair to play against. They driblet half of the deck into the graveyard then summon 5+ monsters in 1 turn. Levianeer as kamikaze cleans the field better and easer to summon than Blackrose dragon. And destiny describe sh!t every bit cherry on top of this
